The first surprise is the size - I thought that it was a large clock, but in fact it's a tiny one - the width of the clock is a little bigger than a AAA battery size. But have the advantage of not occupy too much space on the desk. The alarm sound is very pleasant, for my taste - like the sound of a pulse clock. Take some time to figure of how to use the light and snooze "buttons" - they are not in the top of the unit, it's only plastic there. Instead, the buttons are in the feet of the unit, you have to press the unit firmly in the desired side to click the button. Unusual, but works well. The opening in the top serves to see the display without using a backlight, good to save batteries, but works well only in a specific angle of sight. The display backlight, used only on demand, is somewhat weak, but usable. Final words: I was somewhat underwhelmed at first look, but this clock rapidly had grown in my opinion, now I like it very much.

The accurate case, original illumination of the display from an external light source for economy of batteries. The timer was pleasant to me.
